Synopsis

Mariés depuis trois ans, Carl et Sue ont prévu depuis long- temps d’aller passer cette fin de semaine dans un charmant chalet perdu au fond des bois. C’est là que Carl veut enfin offrir à sa femme les bagues qu’il n’avait pu lui donner plus tôt. Mais il a omis de préciser à sa douce un détail de poids : la propriétaire du chalet n’est autre que Robyn, son ex, avec qui il a vécu une histoire aussi marquante que passionnelle. Et certains secrets n’attendaient visiblement que ce moment pour être révélés. Acteur, scénariste, producteur, Pat Kiely (Who is KK Downey?) signe ici un long métrage en forme de vaudeville contemporain et glacé où la froideur de la neige n’empêche pas les flammes des sentiments. Rythmé et piquant, il compte également sur une distribution séduisante et attachante : Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Anne-Marie Cadieux et Aliocha Schneider.

Married for three years, Carl and Sue have long since planned to spend the weekend at a charming ski lodge lost in the woods. Finally, this is where he will give her the rings that he could not give her earlier. There’s just one small but rather important detail he failed to mention: the lodge’s owner is none other than Robyn, his ex, a woman with whom he had an intense and passionate relationship. And this is obviously the moment when long-dormant secrets are going to be revealed. Actor, writer and producer Pat Kiely (Who is KK Downey?) has made a contem- porary vaudeville comedy where the icy coldness of snow does nothing to dampen the enflamed emotions. The attractive and endearing cast (Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Anne-Marie Cadieux and Aliocha Schneider) keeps the proceedings well-paced and spicy.
